01History
Started with “Electronic Discussion” in a Berlin that was still deciding what it was going to be.
Frank Müller, a DJ since the mid-eighties, founded Acid Orange in Berlin in 1993. The label ran 21 records deep. Muller Records opened in 1996.
What followed was thirty years of records that refused to pick a lane: Detroit techno, acid, new wave melody, and a permanent open line to Tokyo.

Release Artists & Remixers
All artistsDetroit, Tokyo, Grenoble, New York, Berlin. The label never had a house sound so much as a standard — records that work at 3am and still hold up on headphones the next afternoon.

1993 · 21 releases
Acid Orange Recordings
Frank Müller's first label, founded in Berlin in 1993 while the city's acid and techno scene was taking shape. 21 releases made without compromise, and the groundwork for everything that followed. Early releases by unique artists such as Spiral Tribe, I-F, Dr. Walker, Kopftanz and Beroshima. Experimental to the bone, the label reached absolute cult status in the free festival and teknival scene.

1994 · 7 releases
Tanjobi Records
The second label and minimal offspring of Acid Orange Recordings. Seven unique releases that still hold cult status today. Early releases by talents such as Korsakov aka Psychoplasma, Sylvie Marks, Tom Clark and the future grandmaster Ulrich Schnauss.

1996
Muller Records
The main line: a Berlin techno and electro label founded in 1996, and one of the labels that carried German club music around the world. Rooted in vinyl culture and still true to its course: uncompromising club tracks with acid DNA, deep basslines and hypnotic melodies. More than a hundred catalogue numbers, from Beroshima's Electronic Discussion (Muller 2001) to Westbam's Endlos: EPs, best-of compilations and remix projects with countless artists.

2000 · 7 releases
Lifetime Music
A cooperation between Muller Records and the former artist agency Jackfruit Booking. Seven releases, three of which were later integrated into the Muller Records catalogue: Pink Freud, Case Woo and Hexaquart (Ulrich Schnauss), all still available via Bandcamp and Clone Distribution.

2000
Muller Records Japan
The Asian offshoot for a handful of releases, in cooperation with Cisco Records Japan. CD and vinyl, later integrated into the Muller Records catalogue.

2002 · 6 releases
Beroshima Music
When Muller Records ran into trademark problems, Frank started Beroshima Music as a side imprint to secure the upcoming releases and the release schedule. After six vinyl releases, Muller Records was a registered trademark again and could fold the BM releases into its own catalogue.

2012
Mad Musician
Frank Muller presents Mad Musician. It all started with Acid Orange. In 2012 the time had come for Frank Muller to launch a new label: a platform to explore the electronic galaxy and invite other true musicians to join the mission. The first Mad Musician was Kirk Degiorgio, fresh from some awesome tracks on Rush Hour, followed by electronica master Ulrich Schnauss, the king of tech house Funk D'Void and Japan's techno pioneer Ken Ishii, then the pure avant-garde of 3 Tone Dorsal Fin and, last but not least, a tribute to Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer.
